The $249.99 price is for today only, this is being featured as the “Deal of the Day” promotion on BestBuy.com. So is this laptop worth it for the price? The reviews on BestBuy.com by customers are actually pretty positive, for example this reviewer had the following to say:

The specs may not be amazing, the Intel Celeron B800 is definitely a low level budget processor, but it will still of course provide enough power for typical tasks such as web browsing and applications such as MS Office, photo editing and email. You might want to upgrade the memory from the provided 2GB to 4GB, that will cost around $20 if you buy it from NewEgg.com. You can run Windows 7 with only 2GB of memory, but performance will get a significant boost if you add more memory.
Bottom line, if you’re looking for a great laptop deal and just need something basic, this is about as good a deal as you get!
