The calling card of the MacBook Air is of course it’s unbelievably thin 0.68” body. It can easily slip inside a backpack, and with a weigh of 2.38lbs you’ll never even notice you’re carrying it. The $849.99 price is about $50 cheaper than what Apple will be selling this model for tomorrow on Black Friday, and considering Apple does charge state tax you’ll probably end up saving around $100 by going with Amazon.com for this purchase.
The one major limitation of this particular model is the storage size, at only 64GB the SSD won’t leave much room for large media files. The 2GB of RAM will be enough to run Mac OS X Lion, but it would be nice to have 4GB, unfortunately it is hard to make any upgrades to RAM as the body is sealed shut. The fact this model has an Intel Core i5 processor and speedy SSD drive will still make this laptop an overall good performer for its size.
