For $299.99 that’s not bad at all.  The AMD E-350 processor isn’t the most powerful thing going in the world of processors, the smaller HP dm1z and Lenovo ThinkPad X120e both use this.  However, the Lenovo B575 has plenty of power for basic stuff such as web surfing, email and any type of Office productivity applications.  It should even be able to handle playing 1080p high definition video without too much problem.  It has an HDMI port so you can output video to a larger monitor or LCD TV.

The design is all black, which though not stunning is certainly passable as a nondescript looking laptop.  The build quality won’t be ThinkPad like, it’s going to be made of mostly plastic.  But for a budget laptop you get a lot and the pricing is rock bottom and what you’d expect to see on Black Friday, not the beginning of October.
