Staples has the Toshiba Satellite R845-S80 laptop for $549.99 after instant discount and a rebate available to college students. If you are a student with a college ID all you have to do is apply online for the $100 rebate or show your student ID in store at purchase to get a prepaid $100 Visa card, here’s a link to the rebate form for both online or in store purchase. The rebate is available until 9/24/2011 and you have to send in the rebate within 60-days of your purchase. If you purchase online you will have to mail in the rebate form along with a copy of a current school identification card or an original copy of an acceptance letter to a post-secondary school along with another matching form of identification to prove you are a current student. The prepaid Visa card is accepted anywhere that regular Visa credit cards are accepted so you can use it on basically anything, it’s as good as cash.
