Dell has launched a 7-day “Signature Event” in which they actually do have some great laptop deals, it’s not just a marketing serenade. Below are some highlighted offers that are part of this Signature Event that lasts 9/15 – 9/21:

- This deal expires today, it’s a one day deal only and is limited to 250 systems so could expire at any time, this is the lowest price XPS 15 ever, there was a $699 price recently but it only had a 500GB hard drive and standard keyboard, this is a backlit keyboard and 640GB HD
- XPS 15 laptop w/ 2nd Gen Intel Core i7, MS Office 2010, Bluray, 6GB memory, 750GB hard drive for $899.99! coupon: 932N$0ZCCHWZB9
- Use coupon 932N$0ZCCHWZB9 to get this deal, there was another offers similar to this earlier but it did not include BluRay or MS Office 2010, you get both with this deal

- Use coupon 7WR1C2?HTTQQ11 to get this deal. Again, there was a $1049.99 XPS 17 offer similar to this but it only had a 750GB hard drive, standard keyboard, and 900p display. This deal includes 1TB hard drive, backlit keyboard and 1080p high resolution display
- Dell XPS 15z 1-inch thin laptop with 2nd Gen Intel Core i5 processor, MS Office 2010, 8GB memory, 750GB hard drive for $1099.99 only!
- The regular XPS 15z $1099.99 offer only has 6GB memory, 500GB hard drive, and no MS Office. This $1,099.99 deal offers 8GB memory, 750GB HD and includes MS Office 2010
- Dell Inspiron 14z 1-inch thin laptop with 2nd Gen Intel Core i3 processor, 6GB memory, and 640GB hard drive for $599.99!
- The regular $599.99 offer for the Inspiron 14z is 4GB memory and 500GB hard drive, this is an upgraded 6GB memory and 640GB hard drive
I recently reviewed the Dell Inspiron 14z and found it to be a fairly solid laptop for the price you pay, it’s not perfect, but for $599 you get a second generation Intel Core i3 processor, 6GB memory and 640GB HD. The Dell Inspiron 15z is a pretty unique 15” laptop in that it’s actually thin, under 1-inch, but still matches or even exceeds the power of similar 15” laptops. It’s a premium laptop so you do pay more for it but the styling is amazing. Note that this Signature Event sale really is focused on Premium laptops and they’re not cutting prices on the lower end Inspiron line. If you were waiting to get a powerful laptop with some gaming capabilities these are some really good deals, if you were just waiting to find the cheapest laptop money can buy, well this sale isn’t exactly for you.
