While this is a model from last year, it’s still got great performance for a tiny laptop.  Here’s a review on the Acer 1830T from CNET.  While it was knocked for being made of plastic, you can’t expect the same aluminum build you get from a MacBook Air at a $499 price so I wouldn’t consider that a big con.  If you’re a student and need an ultraportable laptop, and wouldn’t mind also having a Free XBox 360 to go with it, this is a great deal to jump on.
