- Either buy or use your existing Kindle with Special Offers and claim the coupon code for 20% off laptops on Amazon.com before August 8th (the coupon expires on August 8th, if you do not have a Kindle with Special Offers before then you cannot get this deal). You have to actually use the coupon on Amazon.com before September 8th. Coupon codes are unique and cannot be shared with other people.
- After getting the coupon code from your Kindle, go to Amazon.com and add one of the following laptops to your shopping cart and then apply the coupon to get 20% off. Shipping is Free and no taxes in most states.

I bought a new kindle with WiFi today from BestBuy, and then registered the kindle to my Amazon account. Clicking the Menu of the kindle would show “View Special Offers” which contained the “Save 20% on select laptops at Amazon.com” offer. It’s easy to figure out the following steps. It depends on the store you buy it from, at this point it’s too late to get the Kindle from Amazon (won’t arrive in time to get the coupon) but if you go to Best Buy I believe they have a return policy with no restocking fee. And yes, the newest MacBook Pro and Air laptops are available on Amazon with this discount.

The offer is live right now and it would work, so the answer to your question is yes. All you have to do is buy the Kindle with Special Offers, sign into it with your Amazon account, and then view “Special Offers” to get the coupon. Of course, if Amazon runs out of stock of certain laptops or decides the promotion is going “too well” then they might stop it. If you purchase from Best Buy you can still return the Kindle if it doesn’t work out and they have restocking fee (I believe at last check).
