The price of the newest Apple iPod Shuffle just dropped from $49.99 to $39.99 on Amazon.com for all color versions. The Shuffle costs $49 on Apple.com and you have to pay tax, with Amazon in most states sales tax does not apply. If you were looking for something pink to give your Valentine’s then the pink iPod Shuffle might just be what you’re looking for! The Shuffle on sale is the 2GB version which means you can store up to 500 songs and get 15 hours of battery life per charge. The iPod Shuffle is perfect as an exercising music player because of it’s incredibly light weight. For students who are on a budget or want an extremely light weight music player to take around campus the Shuffle is a good choice. Another reason I think the Shuffle is a good choice for students to use on campus is the fact it’s not a target for theft and since it’s so cheap it’s not a tragedy when you lose it, which is not the case with a $299 iPod Touch or $599 iPhone!
