If you have three people living together and everyone chips in then the cost to each person would be only about $35!
The other benefit of buying the actual disc version is that you get a software package box and actual disc for the install. Many people prefer this to downloading because if you want to use the disc at a later date to install MS Office 2010 on a new computer you buy you don’t have to figure out or remember where you saved the download and license key, it’s right there in a box.
