While the dm1z is small and doesn’t include a built-in optical drive, for those that need an optical drive you can get an external DVD burner for only $50 or Blu-Ray player for $130 that plugs into the USB port of the dm1z.
We’ll be reviewing the Pavilion dm1z in the next few weeks and evaluating it based on utility as a portable laptop that can be carried around campus, stay tuned!
