Unless you’ve been living in a closet for the past couple of weeks you’ve probably heard the Apple iPhone 4 is now here and offers an array of amazing new features. Some of the features Apple is highlighting in the new iPhone 4 are:

So if you’re sold on the fact the iPhone 4 is the phone for you, you may be wondering if there’s any way to get some type of student discount via Apple for the iPhone 4? Well, although Apple does have a student discount it does not apply to the iPhone 4. All is not lost though, because AT&T does offer a student discount for iPhone 4 service plans to many universities so there is a chance that your university affiliation might score you a discount on your iPhone 4 service plan. To summarize though, you can find out whether or not your college offers a student discount for AT&T by visiting the AT&T Premier Enterprise Portal. On the right hand side of that AT&T site you will see a textbox where you can enter your school email address to find out if AT&T offers a discount to your school, and if they do then receive an email with a link to your school’s discount portal.
If you’re school does indeed have a relationship with AT&T then a page will be shown indicating the success and you will then receive the email from AT&T. You can enjoy anywhere from a 3% – 20% savings on your iPhone 4 service plan. Even if you’ve already got a plan you can upgrade to the Premier plan and get these savings and it does not extend your contract and you can keep this savings plan for life, even after you graduate!

It’s only 15%, but hey, it’s better than a kick in the butt!!!!
