Get 10,000 Frequent Flyer Miles from United for Graduating

Posted on 23 April 2009

Did you just graduate from college? Congrats, you made it and United Airlines wants to reward you by giving 10,000 frequent flyer miles if you belong to or sign up for their Mileage Plus program. Here’s how it works:

1) Graduate from college

2) Sign up for (if you haven’t already before) the United Mileage College Plus program, this is United’s version of a frequent flyer program.

3) After you graduate, send the following material and information:

  • A copy of your final transcript showing that you did indeed graduate as a full-time student from a U.S. college or university.
  • Your United College Plus/Mileage Plus account number.
  • Your e-mail address.

to this address:

Mileage Plus, Inc.
P.O. Box 40
Rapid City, SD 57709
Attn: College Plus Graduation

And within 4 - 6 weeks United will add 10,000 miles to your Mileage Plus account.

20,000 miles - 25,000 miles is about what it takes to get a free round trip ticket with United, so this gets you almost half way there. Not bad, and after all, you deserve more than just a diploma and cake for graduating.
